On our trip to Ikea a few weeks ago, I finally found THE bed for my little girl to move into this December. The problem is that now I’ve got to start thinking of bedding for this big girl room (hard to believe!) This is what I’ve been wanting, but I just can’t spend that much money on bedding, even if it is hopefully for many years to come.
So, I decided that I would try my hand at a quilt. I’m settling on the idea of doing a fairy room and I am hoping to get these fairy embroidery patterns from Hillary at Wee Wonderfuls (she is due to come out with the summer one soon) and I finally found this fabric that I want. I love this whole line from Liberty of London, but I’m leaning towards these (obviously not all of them together, but these were the ones I liked the most):
I’m hoping to get down to this mecca fabric store this summer and will hopefully bring home a bunch of chenille to back it with (at least that is my intention)
Here’s hoping that this quilt that is stuck in my head, actually turns out.
