play skirts

November 16, 2011

I’m continuing to build up my inventory for an upcoming holiday open house I’m participating in.
Yesterday I made a bunch of play skirts, including some with some hand embroidery.

Here are some “plain” play skirts with a ribbon trim.

Here are the two I made with some embroidered accents:

Here’s a close up of the embroidery.
This is adorable fabric from Sarah Jane. It feels divine, was a pleasure to sew and fun to add some embroidery too. My little Miss Chick is getting one of her own for her upcoming birthday. Can’t wait to get started on that one. I think I’ll go a bit more wild on the embroidery on hers.

Here is a sweet, retro looking Christmas print I found and had some fun adding to it also.

These skirts are sized from 2T up to 6/7. Hopefully they’ll go quickly!
