PJ Pants

I’ve had my eye on these wide-legged PJ pants from Amy Butler’s book, In Stitches, since I got it a few years ago. She used vintage sheets to make hers, so I’ve been searching thrift stores and flea markets for just the right sheets to transform (or recycle..haha). I found the perfect pair on my trip to Goodwill a few months ago and I finally got them finished. They were super easy and I do love how they look and feel.

We tried to get a good picture of them on, but alas I wasn’t ready to show off my belly button to the world ๐Ÿ™‚ So, sorry for the lame bed shot.

On other notes:
I’ve got loads of this “fabric” left so I’m thinking it might make a super Easter dress for the chick,
you’ll see this pattern again as I recreate some “hippie” pants for a friend
and just wait for some more recycling of curtains into some cute clothes for me and the chick. I’m starting to feel a little bit like Maria from The Sound of Music
