A New Burp Cloth Finally

It’s been a long, long time since I sat down and worked on a burp cloth. Onesies and t-shirts are so much easier to sew and quicker! But, I’ve been trying to decide how to keep making these burp cloths without doing the big intensive pictures that I’ve done in the past.

I had this ribbon that I bought a while back from Superbuzzy and decided to do a little embellishing with that and then a little hand embroidery. As usual, I’m not totally pleased with how it turned out, but overall I think it’s ok and I’ll live with it! The plus side is that it only took about 30 minutes to stitch the train…compared with about 2 hours that is much better!

*on another note, please continue to pray for baby Lilah. You can visit here for updates. And I really want to make one of those little buttons that you can put on your sidebar that says “pray for Lilah” and links you to their blog. If anyone out there knows how to make one and would be willing to do it for free, please let me know!

  1. I’m on it, Aimee!! Working from home today, so I should be able to make something that you could link to her blog…

miss you! I like the train burp cloth too.

  2. I like the train burp cloth. It is so cute. It seems harder to find cute things for boy babies than it is for girls. You should do well selling those.
