I must end this week with a post about the awful week that we have had. I don’t know if it is the weather (it’s been super hot and humid and rainy) or a full moon (is it?) or just that summer is starting to wind down but this has been one of those weeks I would have loved to have Supernanny in my house (maybe!). I felt like one of those parents on that show that are just exasperated with their kids and can’t seem to figure out what they are doing wrong and what they can do to make it right. I feel like we’ve all spent the week screaming and crying and screaming some more.
Yesterday I finally just threw the kids in the car and took them to a local play place and paid money for them to just be able to run around and play…out of my hair!
What has made my morning though was this post from Ann at Holy Experience. Her prayer in this post is truly what I have been praying (and need to be praying) all week. Thanks to her for her honesty and openness at her struggles as a mom. And the photo of the rainbow…her photos make you want to live on a farm or at least way out in the country…so awesome and beautiful!
